Standard Terms and Conditions - continued
3. Cancellation
3.1 All cancellations must be notified in writing by email to hip@guildproperty.co.uk or post to The Guild of Professional Estate Agents, 3 Signet Court, Cambridge, CB5 8LA.
3.2 Any refund available at the point of cancellation will be as specified on our scale of cancellation charges
3.3 Under the terms of The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, purchasers have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a service within seven working days of making a payment (the cooling off period). Where services have been provided before the usual seven working day cooling off period expires, the customer loses the right to cancel under the terms of The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Should you exercise the right to cancel you will be liable for all reasonable expenses incurred before the cancellation. Should a service be prepared or issued prior to cancellation all or part of the fee would be due, notwithstanding that cancellation took place.
3.4 Refunds will be made via the same method of payment as the original purchase and within 30 days of cancellation.
3.5 We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order for any reason.
3.6 We reserve the right to cancel your order if we or any of our agents are the subject of threatening or abusive language or if we believe you have supplied us with false or misleading information. In such cases clause 3.2 will apply.
