The Guild hits the water for the Cambridge Dragon Boat Race

Staff at The Guild, who can usually be found on dry land in Signet Court on Newmarket Road, are embracing their inner warriors for the Cambridge Dragon Boat Race.

With team spirit in abundance, The Guild will be rowing to the beat of the drum in aid of Children in Need, as well the official event charity, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT).

This is a unique year for The Guild of Professional Estate Agents, as the 800 member offices up and down the country are coming together to support the BBC’s charity. Guild agents do a fantastic job raising money in their local areas, supporting many charities which are close to their hearts, but this year the aim is to combine efforts and make an even greater difference.

This is not the first year The Guild team entered this event, in 2015 they came somewhere near the back, but remain ever hopeful for a trophy! Last year, dressed in Jurassic Park style outfits, The Guild raised £609 which they are hoping to surpass this time.  

Marcus Whewell, CEO of The Guild adds, ‘I am very proud of our members, and the contribution they make to their local communities. The Guild also wants to play a part and show that raising money for a very worthy cause can also be great fun - so please ‘splash some cash’ and support us!’
