Gothic arched windows also predominate, together with high ceilings and three Victorian roof lanterns and original roof pitches, servants bell box (still working) with solid wood flooring.
Set back from the road and screened by a flint wall on three sides, the house is surprisingly light throughout with many rooms being double aspect and although the accommodation is generously proportioned, it has a very comfortable and welcoming feel.
Entering the house from the porch, double doors take you through to the impressive reception hall with generous ceiling height and excellent light which sets the tone for the house.
