Great Torrington market town under 3 miles
The sloping driveway provides parking for one vehicle and at the head is found the garage with an up and over door that is attached to the neighbours garage. Steps lead to the front door, from which when turning around, you do get the sense of total space with the view stretching out in front. It is quite extraordinary and very calming. A part glazed door opens to the enclosed entrance porch from which an inner door leads into the hallway. The sitting/dining room is a fine triple aspect room with a wide bay window overlooking the views and a door opens into the Conservatory at the rear. The kitchen over recent years has been updated and now offers an extensive range of storage on both the left and the right-hand side with associated work surfaces, 4 ring hob with extractor above oven and further appliance space. A connecting door opens to the conservatory, which in turn has doors out into the rear garden. The three bedrooms are found at the other end of the bungalow with two being doubles, one being L-shaped or could be used as a generous sized study/office with a lovely view. The accommodation over the years has been extended and this can be seen both in the kitchen, but also most noticeably in the bathroom, which is a large room with panel bath, wash hand basin, WC and large walk in shower cubicle.
Gardens.
These are laid principally to lawn across the rear on a gentle slope with a vegetable patch at one end behind low height fruit trees and adjacent is a large timber garden shed. At the front, it is open plan, raised up above the road and this is an ideal spot to put a bench and just soak up the views listening to nature and the sounds of the local farm. Garden is well stocked with a range of shrubs and plants including Heather, Azalea and such.
From Torrington, leave the town on the B3227. Shortly after passing the rugby club, take the righthand turn signposted Kingscott. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles until reaching a fork in the road at the Kingscott sign. Take a left on the bend and after a short distance the property will be found setup above the road on the right.
