Barnstaple is an historic market town and the largest town in North Devon with a bustling High Street offering a wide range of shopping facilities and eateries. Located on the estuary of the River Taw, Barnstaple lies to the north of Dartmoor and to the west of Exmoor National Park.

The town has many attractive buildings that date back several centuries including St Anne’s Chapel, Barnstaple Castle and The Georgian Guildhall.
