1. What do you love most about your home?

Where do we start? Being the Penthouse apartment we are so lucky to have the most amazing outdoor private terrace, with far reaching views across the River. The terrace wraps round the whole apartment offering several areas for entertaining or sunbathing in the summer months and there is a very cute cosy area at the side where we often just escape from it all on an evening and have a glass of wine.

The floor to ceiling windows provide an abundance of natural light throughout the year, cutting down on our utility bills as lights are rarely required during the day!

The kitchen of any home is always the centrepiece and this is the same in our apartment. We love the open plan aspect of the kitchen, it is such a lovely sociable entertaining space and has provided us with many wonderful memories we will take away with us. We did consider adding an island to the kitchen and if we had stayed longer, this is something we would definitely have done to make it even more of a feature.

There are two great sized double bedrooms, both with premium carpets and the master has a large, upgraded double wardrobe with larger than average en-suite, fully tiled, with a bath and double shower, which can be turned on from your bedside to ensure it is nice and warm when you get in. Not sure if this is the height of luxury or the height of laziness but we love it!

Talking of luxury, we really appreciate the underfloor heating in the winter months, especially in the bathrooms.

The apartment also offers ample storage compared to traditional 2-bed London apartments. There is also a communal bike area in the secure underground parking area, which is very handy.

2. Why are you moving?

Good question....... It is a very reluctant move as we have absolutely loved living here but the time has come for us to move further afield to the leafy suburbs, buy a house and be nearer to our family.

3. What do you love about the area?

We really have the best of both worlds living here. We commute to central London for our jobs as St. Margaret's and Richmond station are literally just down the road making it easily accessible to the City.

We have some amazing restaurants and local pubs literally a stone's throw from our front door and being just seconds from the tow path gives us easy access all the way to Richmond via Marble Hill Park.

We love to spend the weekends walking our dog along the river, crossing on Richmond Lock to either Old Deer Park, Kew Gardens or even to continue to Richmond Park. Staying on this side of the river will take you down towards Ham House and Teddington lock. We're completely spoilt for green space here and it is such a great area for running, cycling and keeping active all year round.

We hope whoever lives in this apartment after us, enjoys it just as much as we have.
